In Svolvær, Lofoten, Norway at Siglar Lofoten AS was recently installed new drying plant. This drying plant was officially opened February 1. 2012.
MESA and Traust have made an agreement that Traust will be marketing all MESA Products world wide.
MESA machines separate parts of fish heads and spine and turn them into valuable product. Various machines are available to process most common species. Special machines for Tuna heads, Monkfish heads and special Greenland Halibut de-heading machine available. Special cutlet cutter. Head flattening machine for drying purpose.
When trimming fillet and processing fish some good cut of is coming from the muscles. Also it is possible to make mince and get good flesh from parts of the back- bones. This mince is as good as the fillet itself. EasyInject is a process in several steps to make this mince easily injected into the fish again so it integrate and join the flesh again and seamlessly stay in the fillet period and do not leak out.
Our firm has now sold over 20 complete turn-key scallop plants both for processing on land and on board fishing vessels. We have also assisted our customers with installation and start-up of these plants. We have developed a new round type eviscerator for cleaning the scallop. The new machine is very different from earlier flat bed eviscerator.
Traust have worked with capelin roe since 1973 and supplied equipment for extracting capelin roe to all the producers in Iceland and to very many producers in Norway and other countries the last 30 years. In 2005 we made our first herring roe system to Norway.
Traust is now promoting newly developed system that stack splitt fish or fillets in layers in tubs for pickling. The method is automated and does not require any labour work.
The new models of TR-850 Injectors can be fitted with scale which make it very easy to monitor the increase in the weight.
968 needles gives much higher pickup. The new bridge is now showing very good results from first day, the yield increased.
